The Sir George is a cool and casual local pub with a stylish gastro twist in the cute little village of Jugiong (25mins), great for everyone including the Kids. Grand old pub with a beautiful designer garden.

Breakie Spots
In the Main Street of Gundagai is the iconic Coffee Pedaler cafe with “the best coffee between Melbourne and Sydney”. It is a great little cool and relaxed cafe in a nice old building serving Breakie and Lunch.

If you fancy a little drive to Jugiong. The Long Track Pantry (25mins) is a terrific little spot. In a cute little village with some little lovely shops to explore it is the pioneer of the food revolution that started in this area. Famous for their preserves and condiments, it’s easy to stock up on presents while you are waiting for your delicious food to arrive.

Brewery a Feed and a little excursion…
The Tumut River Brewery in Tumut (½ hr) is quickly establishing itself as the Live Music Hub in the area. Quick Meals and Good Beer make it a must for Brewery Lovers.

A bit further afield for those staying a few days is The Thirsty Crow Brewery in Wagga (58mins, take the back road through Nangus for the scenic drive) Open Tuesday Dinner through to Sunday Lunch. head Brewer Craig Wealands has won Countless Awards for his Beers in this huge Brewery building and is a well known Beer Officianado.
